Matcha Tea Time

Yes, I know. We keep hearing Matcha this, Matcha that, but what really is this tea and what can it do for us? Matcha is finely ground up green tea leaves that are known to be full of antioxidants, protein, fiber and the amino acid L-theanine. That particular amino acid has been said to reduce jitters and calm the nerves while enhancing our memories and ability to focus! These are definitely improvements that I’m sure you could too!  

   Of course, I have tried the tea for myself, and I usually take a spoonful of the powder and blend it with warm almond milk so I can enjoy the foam as well! You can also mix it with a spoon, mix it with hot water and add milk and sugar as you please, you can prepare it with a bamboo whiskey whisk into boiling water, or any other fruit or milk (dairy or nondairy) options you decide will taste best.
