Sheer & Velvet

Layering Day

A few things: I’m into this whole layering the tank on top of another top tee thing, velvet is underrated and…we need to chat about all things Red Valentino and their new Fall/Winter 2016/2017 collection (AKA this bag and everything else that is on my radar/should be on yours). Also, there’s no such thing as walking into Urban Outfitters and walking out empty

handed. Just saying. Ah, and…without sounding like a broken record, I’m going to give another nod to visiting flea markets while traveling, since I picked this necklace up back in the day while traveling in Cartagena and it was a great find! A little digging and perusing never hurt anybody.

Okay, back to Red Valentino for another second. I’m all about the « love, » « heart, » « kindness, » « life, » « dreams, » and beyond written across different pieces of the collection. Great words to live by, so why not have them sewn onto your clothes or accessories permanently? My thoughts exactly. There was a good mix of stripes, lace, punk-ish elements, oversized button details and more within the collection that really made for a well-rounded selection. I snatched this bag up quickly and still have my eyes on all the coats, pants, skirts and sweaters, so…stay tuned.
