NYC 101
Statue of liberty not included. Since there’s so much to see, eat and drink and usually so little time, we’ve decided to map out some necessities for your weekend. Start your day off with a healthy power breakfast. Little Collins for the best avocado toast you’ve ever had in your life. And The Butcher’s Daughter for an almond butter toast with bananas and grapes.
That’s fuel for the miles you’ll be walking.
(Window) Shopping: Dover Street Market has a collection of jewelry that makes us weak at the knees. Seriously. (Side note: DSM will carry the first ever collection by Nicholas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton, which launches today!)
Culture: You must take a look at the Jeff Koons exhibit @ The Whitney museum before October 19. Because if you miss it…you’ll have to take a trip to the Pompidou, the next destination for the Koons Retrospective.
Adventure: Take a stroll to Brooklyn. Have brunch at Egg, coffee at Toby’s Estate, shop at Brooklyn Fox and Catbird, and if you’re feeling ambitious, roam across the Williamsburg bridge.
Intellect: Indulge in the books at McNally Jackson. Cafe included. Incredible bookstore.
More eats: sushi @ Bond St., Mexican @ La Esquina, a scene + good food @ Catch; buns + cocktail: Momofuku Ssam Bar, casual + delish: Cafe Gitane at the Jane Hotel, and everything and more @ ABC Kitchen
