Flea market finds
Digging Encouraged
As mixing highs and lows is one of my strong points, I often score great finds at H&M and pair them up with some vintage Chanel. This time around, I stumbled upon this straw handbag in a flea market in the south of France and knew it had to be mine immediately. Though if you’ve never been to Marché aux Puces de Paris/St.-Ouen by Porte de
Clignancourt (in the 18th), it’s also a cool place to do some scouting.
Also decided to bring out the buttons from head to toe (literally). Still in my denim days, and this skirt is a nice alternative to jeans when you’re in the mood for a little change. It was a simple, no-fuss kind of day, with black and denim on the agenda. These heels gave the day a little pick-me-up, with some boost and personality to elevate the look a bit. This purse also seems like the perfect picnic kind of add-on–can’t you picture a baguette popping out and taking a peek inside and finding a piece of brie, some grapes and fine…maybe a bottle of wine? Today it was just my sunglass case, some lip gloss, hand lotion…
