And etnic vibes
I’m very excited about the recent golden find that was this Zara dress. It’s easy to walk into Zara needing absolutely nothing (a rare occasion) and then walking out with several accoutrements that you later realize…of course you needed them (all)! And my go-to with all solid staples (yes, this just became a staple) is to add a statement piece
of jewelry. I always love all things Paola Mendoza. I had a phase where I really couldn’t get enough of her gold wrap-around bracelet, and now these earrings seem to be hanging just right.
Another matter of deep importance is the Valentino SS16 collection. Since getting a little cozy with some of the collection pieces during Paris Fashion Week in October (refresh your memory here), I’ve fallen for every single piece. I’m drawn in by the African inspiration of Valentino’s Spring/Summer 16 collection, that literally transports you somewhere else, both visually and emotionally… I love that Piccioli and Chiuri – the brand designers – chose Steve McCury, a culture reporter to shoot the ad campaign in Maasai village between Kenya and Tanzania, instead of a regular fashion photographer…
I hope you’ll love the collection as much as I do 🙂
