When two fashion powerhouses work together, it’s an incredible opportunity to maximize creativity and tap into various markets and audiences. Often times, when a high-end designer collaborates with a more affordable company, it’s a win for everyone. In comes the Balmain x H&M collaboration, and…well, things are looking pretty amazing. The last time H&M partnered up with a
big name like Alexander Wang, the results were impressive, so we’re expecting nothing less this time around! PS. Mark your calendar for November 5 (when the Balmain collab drops).
Other notable collaborations to focus on include Kate Moss x Save the Children–a pairing that launched 5 limited edition holiday sweaters, gathering muses (like Kate), with high-end designers like Bella Freud, Charlotte Olympia, and more, to donate profits to the Save the Children campaign. Shopping for a cause is always a great incentive!
Icon Carine Roitfield has also recently partnered with Uniqlo for an exciting collection, that includes easy to wear pieces in neutral colors, as well as great leopard prints, for work attire, plus going out on the town.
Two recent collections in the activewear department also caused some waves of excitement as of recent. The NikeLab x Sacai collection that hit this past summer definitely through a cool twist on all things athleisure, while the Yeezy (Kanye West) Adidas sneaker collaboration sold out in seconds. The duo just launched a full clothing collection as well.
And last but not least, the Nars x Steven Klein collaboration included gorgeous packaging, palettes, and eye candy for holiday gifting. (In limited quantities, of course.)
