Holiday time means a lottttt of good eats! Yummy recipes to try, a lot of sweets, so many savory meals and a lot of the time we just cannot say no to any of the options. We have to keep in mind that food is medicine and what we allow into our bodies has a great effect on our physical and mental health. 

You should definitely be enjoying the lovely treats during this season, but how will you combat the negative effects that might come? Here are some juices and smoothies that you can drink to help maintain that equilibrium in your body and continue to feel good during this holiday season!

The “Belly Feel Good-Smoothie” is great for digestion and promotes a healthy gut. You will need: 

2 cups diced fresh pineapple

2 cups peeled and diced fresh papaya

1 medium ripe banana 

1½ cups coconut water

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

½ teaspoon peeled and minced fresh ginger

1 teaspoon aloe juice 

Pinch of sea salt

Just blend and enjoy!

Another option to boost your metabolism and feel great throughout your day is this green smoothie! You will need:

½ cup of strongly brewed green tea

¼ cup of coconut milk

2 cups of spinach

1 green banana

1 grapefruit

1 cup of pineapple

10 grams of whey protein


Blend and Enjoy!

For one more green smoothie that you might like, get your blender ready again and add these ingredients:


1 cup of green tea

11 ounces of non-fat greek yogurt 

2 cups of spinach or kale

1 medium Granny Smith Apple

½ cup of 100% pomegranate juice

¼ avocado

¼ cup of frozen pineapple

½ inch of fresh ginger
