It’s okay to be a makeup hoarder. The trick is to collect great products that make you feel beautiful, refreshed and energized. In my Dior collaboration, I got to explore their entire make up line, and have accumulated a few new favorite necessities. I’ve always been a huge fan of the iconic curling mascara, and the Dior Addict lip maximizer, but now…there have been a few additions here!
A neutral eye palette with a swipe of eyeliner on top is sophisticated but yet very natural. It adds the perfect touch without overdoing it and looking too « made up. » A few things went into the works here. For the face, the Rosy Glow blush, Diorskin Nude Air Serum de Teint, Nude Aire Poudre Libre, Hydra Life Serum Sorbet and Hydra Life Creme Sorbet. It sounds like a lot, but it’s a subtle combination. We added some Lip Glow for the pout, and for the eyes, the Reviver Palette and Patch Pastel Eyes.
I’m also really into the delicate packaging, which I definitely will not be hiding under the sink! The most important for me is the natural finish, which kind of gives the « I woke up like this » vibe, when really…we know it’s just Dior making us pull off the au naturel look.
A little tour through the whole makeup repertoire by a Dior make up artist was a fun day of play, and the look created was inspired by the last Spring/Summer runway, which made the whole catwalk beauty routine seem very accessible and attainable. And now that it’s Spring…my makeup department has been refreshed and renewed. Experiencing the beauty process with the Dior experience felt surreal, I can’t wait to let you all in on the tricks! First things first, before applying all the makeup, I lathered a bit of the Hydra Life Pro Youth serum and Hydra Life Pro Youth cream as a base.
