Couture Week 2018
This week-end weekend was full of outrageously fabulous designs. I was in such a craftmanship of all these designers how their plans came to life on the runway.
To begin with, Iris van Herpen took scientific inspiration for this season’s runway looks. The organic was merged with the inorganic to create Syntopia. It represents an apparent shift in modern science: biology and technology collide to create new forms and future creation!
Skirts are not everything! We Saw That Very Clearly with the pantsuits appearances this past weekend, Christian Louboutin Alexandre Vauthier’s pop of bright yellow jacket and black pant.
Black is always safe, but it is definitely not a word I would like to describe these designs. Armani, Alexandre Vauthier, Chanel, Giambattista Valli and Valentino give us life with these all black designs!
Schiaparelli, Valentino, Alexandre Vauthier, Giambattista Valli and Iris van Herpen also gave us so much more reason to add the color red to our wardrobe. Show up and show out!
If you are feeling a little less adventurous, the runway gives you plenty of options from the neutral palette to choose from. Schiaparelli, Valentino, Iris van Herpen, Christian Dior, and Chanel to the rescue.
Lastly, I believe one of the MOST exciting trends That Showed up on the runway Many Times Was the organic shape That Armani, Valentino, Iris van Herpen and Jean Paul Gaultier is recreated So Many breathtaking ways.
