Chanel & Vauthier
The sleek, silky, thigh-high slits that perfectly accentuated the silhouettes of runway phenomenons like Izabel Goulart and Jamie Brochet at Alexandre Vauthier made it a catwalk to remember. And of course, with the Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner strutting their stuff at Chanel, donning intricately
handmade garments fit for a queen, let’s say haute couture is looking…hot.
Vauthier went the risqué route, with excessive skin on display. Sex appeal was in the air, and the models rocked fierce ensembles that would stop traffic anywhere. Leopard, sequins, and patent leather also peered in.
The thing about Chanel is that we know Karl Lagerfeld will never let us down. There was an eco-friendly theme alive throughout the collection. A theme that used wood chips and cotton, while also sprinkling in flecks of gold, floral details, and exaggerated round shoulders. Fairytale come to life, as always.
