mochila heaven

Hi!

Mochila … Does This word sounds familiar …?
It is a Colombian word that describes a particular bag shape. The mochilas are 100% hand-made with a long colored strap. These little bags are considered a summer must  by every fashion magazines. The mochila was recently elected “IT Bag 2012″ by Vogue.

Mochila’s can be worn at the beach or in the city and for any occasions, for a night out or on quiet Sunday. For the skeptics, I’ll try to show you through my next posts how the mochila can be worn differently according the occasion!

Yesterday I met Miss Mochila – the bag designer. This young French designer, spends her time between Colombia and New York.
For us, she opens the mochila “temples” and take her on a discovery tour of her cheerful and colorful collection. Miss Mochila does not only focus on bags but extends her line with necklaces and bracelets with Aztec prints! A fabulous collection, yet very addictive …
