MET, saw, loved

This year’s MET gala, taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art has a nice oriental flair going, with the theme being: “China: Through the Looking Glass.” From ladies who went along with the theme, to others who were half in the nude, stunners in red, and of course, head to toe black, this year’s best dressed list was almost overflowing. Let’s not forget Beyonce, who may or may not break the internet with this one…

Ladies who know a thing or two about making red live up to its sexy reputation include Jessica Hart in Valentino, Poppy Delevingne in Marchesa (this one was truly killer), and Gigi Hadid in a more simply DVF piece.

In the oriental department, we have Emily Ratajkowski in Topshop (finally! A dress we can all own…), Sienna Miller in Thakoon (she’s always rocking something different, and Chloe Sevigny owning the oriental theme.

Black is black, and it never fails or fades. Especially when worn by…Karlie Kloss in Versace, Imogen Poots in Alberta Ferretti, and Jennifer Lawrence in Dior.

And then the runway crew comes along, with cutouts in all the right places. Rosie Huntington Whiteley is in Versace Atelier, Joan Smalls in Prabal Gurung, and Kendall Jenner’s beautiful emerald gown is Calvin Klein Collection.

Oh, and Beyonce. Can you saw jaw-dropping show-stopper? Right.
