A Summer Treat
Guilt free and refreshing cool summer treats are often tricky to come across. Sometimes, you want something beyond a fruit smoothie or juice. But also, something that’s not an ice cream or frozen yogurt. Enter a fresh selection of easy to make healthy popsicles and you’ll be the star hostess of any summer soiree. Some recipes call for 4 basic ingredients, like the coconut fig one, which only packs coconut milk, maple syrup, figs, and vanilla extract for the perfect sweet treat. Others, like the green detox popsicles are a seriously nutritious dessert, with fruits and veggies like apple, grapes, kale, zucchini and avocado. The winner for simple is probably the mango chia variety, which only includes mangos, coconut water, and chia seeds!
