Now that fashion week is almost done making its rounds, there is still a notable slew of designers left to strut their collections in Paris. Here are a few can’t-miss glances to get you going, while there’s more to come next week. Let’s start with Valentino, who always nails the sophisticated feminine babe look, with lots of sheers
and florals roaming beautifully throughout the catwalks. Glitz galore went down at Elie Saab. Star prints all around, with lots of sparkles sprinkled throughout. If you were looking for a killer party look, this is where you’d want to look. Meanwhile, Balenciaga was all about the serious bold shoulders. The broader, the better. Fall has officially been summoned.
Simplicity took center stage at Céline, as it often does. Head to toe ensembles in one strong color were a theme, as were rounded shoulders. Mugler took a more sporty route, with sexy cutouts playing a constant, and thick zippers embellishing several pieces.
