h2>NYC Style

I may have been born with an iced latte in my hand. Anything is possible nowadays. And if you know me well enough, you know that I do not engage in social activity before my morning espresso. On that note, there are a few coffee shops that hold a special place in my caffeinated soul. My number one is Two Hands. And that’s not only because it’s run by tons of beautiful Australian men.

Their java and avocado toast are they key to happiness in life. That’s a fact. The ambiance is also great, but the secret is out so I steer clear on weekend mornings and try to go at odd hours to beat the crowds.

When in Brooklyn, which is my standard Sunday, I have two spots. Devocion and Toby’s Estate are both musts.
When near SoHo, McNally Jackson is one of my absolute favorite places in New York. (I realize this is a bold statement.) But part bookstore and part coffee shop equals perfect rainy day. Just look at that ceiling full of books!

And then if you find yourself uptown, without question, you should head to Little Collins. Hole in the wall it is, but even if I have to stand in a corner crouched over as I feast, it’s 100% worth it. Sorry for the repeat of food items but…this avocado toast is epic too.
