Today I’d like to introduce you to someone I am proud to collaborate with: Alexis. I met Alexis a few month ago through my brother’s girlfriend, by the time I was looking for help with the blog. Besides her impeccable fashion sense, Alexis is a bright and fun young lady who knows the best spots to eat in every city she travels to #travelenthusiast
Luckily, Alexis has her own blog where she shares with us all her good tips! Leopardforbreakfast is a combination of food and fashion obsessions from all over the world (what’s not to love !!). From Paris to Tel Aviv, Miami, New York and more…Alexis shares her favorite feasts, the healthy and the splurge-worthy, and some fashion mixed in too. Here’s a quick word with the Miami born and raised girl who studied in Paris for a semester and is finishing up college in Wisconsin!
Best way to start the day?
A nice shower followed by a big iced cappuccino with almond milk, oatmeal and a phone call to my mother, and then jamming to throwback music (50 Cent and Kanye back in the day) to officially wake me up
If you could be an animal, what would you be?
Definitely a cross between a leopard and a flamingo. I love leopard print and fierce creatures, but I’ve always wanted long, skinny legs…
Cocktail of choice?
I tend to gear towards the sugary, fruity things. The day that bars start making mojitos with Stevia, I think I will feel at peace with the world. Otherwise, caiprinhas with fresh fruit, sangria…
Things you can’t live without?
Chapstick, lace bras, music, coffee, Stevia, my Moleskine notebook and my friends and family.
I can’t decide between food and fashion so I guess I would just start a food blog for Vogue? In Paris. I guess I want to eat at the world’s best restaurants while wearing the world’s most fabulous clothing? Or…I just need to end up in Paris.
And here is some of the food that seriously jumped off the screen…
A beautiful swordfish tartar and beet carpaccio at The Broken Arm in Paris
This pizza with an egg on top at La Favola in Nice.
A collage on funky prints!
And supposedly the best Reuben sandwich at Frenchie bar à vins in Paris…
