As a fresh Londoner, I just discovered in my area a treasure for my hair : Aldo Coppola‘s hair-styling salon. I recently felt like my hair needed a boost both in terms of radiance and contrast, so I decided to give a try to the italian hair care and coloring traditions …

Here, every single client receives a dedicated hair-treatment including a made-to-measure coloring formula, based on ones color and hair quality. All hair colors are made of natural ingredients, pure oils, mediterranean plants and fruit extracts that are then mixed with sugar and bee wax. This really helps to nurture and enhance one’s hair quality. In my case, Marco, the colorist who took car of me, mixed 7 different herbs, camomille oil and then yoghurt, blending everything together! The mixture looks very much like brown mud but trust me, the result on my hair is really incredible! I feel my color was a little ashy and dull lately and I wanted to give it a natural glow in order to keep long and healthy hair. I haven’t done any single high-light, just plants applied to my hair  and well … as you can see, any lackluster high-lighting effects  are completely gone.  Also, my natural Summer high-lights are beautifully enhanced.

I thought i’d mention for all “ombré” afficionadas, that Aldo Coppola has developped a new hair-coloring technique called Shatush. It aims to lighten hair through only applying natural ingredients (bye bye oxydant!) irregularly on locks and tips  …  Who knows, maybe i will feel like trying it next time…

I wish you all a fantastic week – from my side, i’m on my way to Paris, where i will be covering Fashion Week for Olympus !

Vraiment sublime ce résultat! … d’autant plus génial que la composition soit naturelle!
